Ben’s been involved in our church’s cafe for a while now and I’ve heard a lot about it and knew the people involved, but kept making excuses on why I shouldn’t join. It became apparent though that, even though I have no desire to make espresso drinks, there was still plenty for me to do.
So now I’m officially on the Cafe team and am responsible for scheduling, and writing up policies and procedures, and organization. Pretty much all the nerdy admin stuff that I love. It’s been a good fit so far! I’m loving it!
The church’s cafe area has been renovated slowly over the past several months and there’s more to come here soon. I wish I’d thought to get a “before” picture because I know it’s going to be a big change!
